I have a friend who has a profile on this site; she tends to get a bit more "vocal attention" than I get, but that's ok when you take into account the kinds of notes she gets; here's the most recent installment in "Creepy Mail from Europeans:"

"...So I prefer to tell you that I love the scent of wet grass and winds in early spring, moon and ripe fruits, resins on trees in autumn and the green wheat in May, raindrops on a beach and mountains skylines at dusk..."

And that's not even one of the BAD ones! I'm no Date Doctor by any means, but even if you truly like all of those things like raindrops and resins, it seems a little strange to put it exactly in that way, doesn't it? - The old "These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things" song comes to mind. I mean the old "I like long moonlit walks on the beach..." cliche doesn't really turn anyone on anymore, does it?

Ladies, is that kind of thing more appealing or creepy (she's considering taking her picture off after this one).

(I must say, this is not intended as any kind of a slight against Europeans; it's just that all of her creepy emails come from Europeans - I don't get it either)

I'm laughing hysterically, I received almost the same letter and I'm a lot older. Now I'm wondering what he's looking for?

I have had an experience with men using the same opening letter, which in this case proved to be to his disadvantage.

I was dating a man that I had met online. Hiw opening remarks were beautiful, and romantic. Later, I realized that he was still online talking to women. He said he was no longer online. One eveing a girlfriend and I created "Alaina" and posted her online.........he responded in about 10 minutes with the same opening remarks that he had sent to me. Moral of this story is........it's beyond creepy....it's absolutely weird, but it works to their disadvantage because they're easily caught.

I was chatting with short American, I told him that short people sometimes arent very nice to me. We were arguing, according to him I made it up and I didnt have any "tall problems" because that kind of problems didnt exist. He wrote that it was just my imagination and I was stupid like all people from my country.
I would prefer to receive love letters about rain:)

It must be better than receiving mails from very short, older men who ask me if I am really too tall.:)

hi Author, sounds very poetic to me. I suppose only a poet would appreciate writings such as these. I am seeking a publisher, are you one?
